The We Are The World card represents the need for all of us to share the riches and gifts the world gives us in order to nurture and feed the whole. The continuation of sharing eventually leads to the acknowledgement that we are all one collective. We begin to embrace our humanity and with that comes peace and joy, which leads to ultimate prosperity. This is depicted by the people holding hands and dancing with each other. If you receive this card, you must ask yourself…are you being selfless? Am I contributing to the collective?
This card takes on the likeness of The Hermit from the traditional Rider-Waite Smith. If you receive this card, you need to ask yourself if you’ve been accurately identifying the true difference between loneliness and aloneness. We are rarely ever alone, but oftentimes experience loneliness. We feel lonely when we are misunderstood or feel unsupported by those in which we seek approval. When we can overcome being lonely and realise that we only need support and understanding from ourselves, the need for approval from others begins to fade. This is when we enter a state of aloneness. When we enter this state we begin to find our own inner light, and the more faith we have the brighter it shines. We must trust this light, as it is our inner wisdom guiding us on journey.
If you are fortunate enough to receive this card, the the Divine wants you to remember that life isn’t as serious as you may think it is. If you sat with yourself and asked yourself, “what’s the worst that can happen?” it will always end with ‘death’. However, we must remember that we’ve all died before and that the act of dying takes instant. It is simply a blip in time, time of which is a construct created by the seriousness of man. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Instead of spending all of your time worrying yourself into a grave, take a step back and see the joy that surrounds us all. This card reminds us to have fun and to not take everything and ourselves so seriously. When we begin to enjoy life we ignite a light inside ourselves that acts like a beacon that attracts all things positive to us.

Use your previous emotional experiences as strength to propel yourself into the act of changing your future for the better instead of wallowing in self-pity. If you are unhappy with your current situation or state of being that is pushed onto you by the systemic institutionalisation of the society in which we live, then choose to grow your skills and abilities to change the aspects of society you don’t like in order to make a healthier life for yourself. Change your world for the better.

Learn to forgive yourself from engaging in previous relationships that didn’t serve you. Previous sorrow and disappointment that was prompted by the breakdown of a relationship near and dear to you caused you to engage in self-deprecating behaviour. The pity held in your heart for yourself became overwhelming enough for you to decide that something must give. From this experience, you began to find yourself and you decided to focus on yourself and your work with the hopes of developing yourself in the material world and for career purposes.
This newfound respect and purpose for yourself made you realise that it is time to start following your dreams, but err on the side of caution because you are burdening yourself with enormous amount of pressure and high-expectations. Respect the fact that you are on a journey and that good things take time. Work slowly, and steadily while taking the time to enjoy the little gifts that life offers you. If you continue to push yourself harder than what is necessary, you will push yourself beyond the brink leading to burnout and exhaustion.
By working smarter, not harder, you will be able to face any challenges that life throws at you. These challenges will be the ‘drum roll’ to the finish line. Face them fiercely and unapologetically and remember to maintain your dignity and integrity while doing so because great things on the other side awaits.
Love and Light,

The Empress is the card of expansion, and is suggested by the pomegranates on her dress, which represent fertility. She is the Mother of Earth and can represent a person incarnate, Spirit, or one’s desire of motherhood (fatherhood). This is the Venus. The sceptre she holds represents her place in the world and her connectedness to Earth and the Universe. This is also displayed by the 12 stars on her crown, which symbolizes the 12 zodiac signs – her relationship to the planets. She is surrounded by the colour yellow representing Spirit as it comes into the material world and crops representing abundance.
Depending on context and the surrounding cards present, this card may suggest that even though you mean well, perhaps you are mothering others too much. You can’t take responsibility for the actions of other people. This card can also stipulate that perhaps you’re not mothering yourself well enough. To love unconditionally is to love yourself first, so how are you doing this? Are you giving yourself what you need? Do you even know what it is that you need?
The Empress is the definition of fertility and represents your ability to grow any idea into fruition. Either you’ve already started nurturing your ideas and are currently manifesting your goals or you aren’t doing enough, and the Universe is reminding you to get on with it!
Make no mistake by misjudging her nurturing character as women mimic the creative forces of the Universe. Mother nature can be cruel and she won’t hesitate to destroy something in order for something better to exist.
Receive the nurturing, healing energy the Universe is know giving you. Use it to heal your mind and refocus on your goals in order for the Empress to grow the success of your ambitions in her womb. Release the fear that you hold onto and the fruitless worries you maintain about being unsuccessful in the achievement of your goals. Come back ready with the confidence to pursue your ideas with the knowledge and acceptance that you can achieve what it is that you wish as long as you allow your Spirit to transcend the material nonsense of the human experience in the physical world.
From the readings I have been doing lately, it is apparent the the collective is in distress and all is need in widespread healing. I’ve decided to a quick reading for those that feel they need healing at the moment, as we as a collective have been suffering from the lack of compassion that has been going around.
