fullsizerender-2

If you’ve stumbled across this post today, then you’re ending the completion of a journey – most likely an emotional one that has impacted you negatively. From this you’ve learned valuable lessons and have unlocked inner wisdom. What you must learn is to take these emotions and reclaim power over them to the point where it does not overpower you. Recognise these emotions and love them unconditionally, it is not until then that you will be able to genuinely let them go. Like the King, choose to have dominion over your unconscious. This does not mean to repress your emotions. On the contrary, accept them and set them free. This will give you balance and harmony providing for a better transition into the next phase of your journey.

The Fool’s Journey – The High Priestess

fullsizerender

‘2’ is the number of balance. The pillars represent the pillars at the Temple of Solomon, with the third pillar representing spirituality and the psyche. The High Priestess is the third pillar.  The cross symbolises the 4 Earthly elements, as when you fold it, it will form a cube representing the physical form- the form in which we all reside in. The Priestess’s headdress is the Headdress of Iris, the mother goddess. The new moon represents new beginnings and the water at the bottom of her robe represents emotions and consciousness. The moon influences waters symbolising our interconnectedness of Spirit and Earth.

She holds the Tora containing the natural laws of the Universe. She sits in front of a veil. This reminds us that we must look behind the veil, or look within ourselves. On the other side are your true feelings and intuition. You must ask yourself: what will I find on the other side? When you look within yourself with open arms and an open heart you find balance, and most importantly, you find answers.

Oracle – Guilt

oracle

In some instances, guilt is just the fear of not being liked. The mere act of putting our foot down spawn feelings of guilt as we don’t want the other person to think of us in a less favourable way. Making these decisions though is necessary for our happiness and for the prosperity of the soul. We burden ourselves with obligations placed unto us by that of another and go through life with an internal, seething resentment. By doing this, we enable others to take advantage of us. You must wake up and ask yourself if you are giving up too much time and energy for the benefit of someone else. Then you must accept the true answer. It is only until that happens that you will be able to release yourself from unnecessary burdens, and from that that no longer serves you.

Oracle – Abundance

oracle-reading

Gold is representative of our power to choose. We’ve got options and it is up to us to come to a decision. Be careful, as your choice will be brilliant or foolish (fool’s gold). Always remember that if you don’t like your initial choice, you can always make another one. Furthermore, keep in mind that sometimes it takes a little sacrifice in order to reach a little abundance. The border of this Oracle card is also yellow, which is representative of the Solar Plexus – the chakra of choice and decision-making.

The Legend: “Inside a magical treasure chest, gold coins swap stories. One coin tells how a man foolishly dropped her down a drain, then cried instead of trying to get her out. Later, an enterprising little girl used string and chewing gum to fish her out. The coins remembered how the girl saved them, along with many others, and eventually brought a house. As all coins desire to be well spent, they agree that she was indeed a wise person.” Tori Hartman

The message: be mindful of yourself using your financial situation as a reason why you cannot live life to the fullest. You are in control of your own abundance.

Oracle – Trust Yourself

Why do we so often question are abilities? Why are we always our own worst critics? We all have the the tools and power within us to make it through any situation that is thrown our way and it is time for us to start believing in our infinite potential.

If you have come across this post today, then there is either a family or project issue that is in need of some guidance and direction. Because everyone has their own unique opinion on how they think something should work, democracy isn’t always practical. It is time for you to put your foot down and to be assertive while also sending blessings to all of those involved. It is possible to be firm, yet kind. Dig deep to call upon your courage to guide you and ask the Universe for assistance.

I Got Fired

Some people are curious as to how I managed to fall into this way of life. After working my ass of in school, and sacrificing everything I know in order to complete 5 degrees, and moving to a different country own my own, I thought I finally did it. I had landed it a nice cushy job at one of the major international corporate law in world. I was so proud of myself after accomplishing all that I had accomplished at a ripe, young age.

But then I got fired. I don’t want to get into the whole story, but let’s just say that if my name was Becky, and I had blonde hair and blue eyes, wasn’t an immigrant, and had the 5 degrees that I currently hold, I would still have that job. That firm threw me away like I was the plague. The heartlessness involved was so overwhelming that even if I think about it now I still get emotional. I thought I was a complete failure, and I let these people make me question all of my abilities and talents.

I wallowed in my own self-pity for 8 months, got a minimum wage job working in a candy store, put on 50 pounds of food and self-loathing, and ended up anti-depreesants. Then realised I still couldn’t afford to take care of myself and got a second minimum wage job working in customer service. Wiping my CV clean, and erasing all of my accomplishments in order to get a job was one of the most humbling experiences I’ve gone through. I was even rejected from a position to hand out newspapers at train stations. Then one day I started to realise that I didn’t mind my minimum wage jobs. No, they weren’t challenging, but I was content. I was stripped bare and was okay with what I saw. I learned that money and status is not important to me even though I thought they were and that the only requirement I have in life is to be happy.

I am currently finishing my 3rd Masters degree and I have a Law degree and have realised that the only thing I need to do with my education is help others. I am fortunate enough to be educated in a field that can save the lives of other people, and I much rather do that than make the fat cats fatter in a corporate law firm. This realisation led me on a spiritual journey that brought me to Tarot and Mediumship, but it also brought out my creative side. I found my passions in my time of lost and was able to start a business out of it. Instead of selling my soul to work for the status quo, I now fight against it. My education has made me a spiritual activist, and I think that is a much better fit for me than a lawyer. I used to be the system and now I say fuck the system, and fuck the society that has built the system.

I use my education and spirituality to fight for every disadvantaged group out there: people of color, lgbt, transgender, women, refugees, migrants and immigrants, those with mental illnesses, and everything in between. And I hope to one day be able to show someone that is about to sell out for the check that they’ve been blessed with the skills to change a life and change the world.

Aquarius Moon is fresh breath of air today 2-24-2017

Libra Seeking Balance

aquarius_by_AutumnsGoddess

We’re deep in the Balsamic Phase of the Moon preceding Sunday’s New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces, and today the Aquarius Moon makes one aspect all day – a sextile to sweet Venus in Aries this morning. We can breathe freely now and clear our minds ahead of the New Moon. The quiet sky will allow us to focus on the wrapping up the week with the minimum of fuss and bother. 🌠☾♒🌠

This is the last full day Mercury will be in Aquarius because tomorrow it will drop into intuitive Pisces without a ripple. We’ve become used to a sky dominated by fire and air but that’s beginning to change. Fire and air make for a lively, direct exchange of ideas and being assertive is considered a plus. Once the Pisces waters rise even more, we’ll need to tone it done and pay much closer attention to how…
